Launched by Ministry of Rural Development in 2014, it aims at accrediting responsibility to Member of Parliament for developing physical and institutional infrastructure in 3 villages by 2019.
As per latest estimates (2019), 500 members of Lok Sabha and 203 members of Rajya Sabha have adopted 3 villages each to transform them into ‘Adarsh Villages’.
