Commemorating Rani Chennamma’s Victory at Kittur
On 24th October 2025, the year-long nationwide commemoration of the 200th anniversary of Rani Chennamma’s legendary victory at Kittur concluded with a grand closing ceremony in New Delhi.

- Rani Chenamma was born on 23rd October 1778, in Kagati, a small village in present-day Belagavi district in Karnataka.
