Maritime Amrit Kaal Vision 2047
Maritime Amrit Kaal Vision 2047 (MAKV 2047) is a long-term blueprint for India’s maritime blue economy, and it was unveiled on 17 October 2023 during the Global Maritime India Summit (GMIS) 2023.
It is a long-term strategic roadmap articulated by the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways to transform India into a global maritime hub by 2047, aligned with the broader national vision of Amrit Kaal (2022-2047). The vision focuses on port modernisation, logistics efficiency, shipbuilding self-reliance, coastal development, and sustainable maritime growth.
