Ambaji White Marble Receives GI Tag

  • Ambaji’s sacred white marble has recently been granted a Geographical Indication (GI) Tag by the central government.
  • The marble mines of Ambaji are 1,200–1,500 years old, dating back to the period when the Dilwara Jain Temples of Mount Abu were constructed.
