- Recently, Mathura’s Zari Poshaak and Meerut’s bugle (trumpet) musical instruments have been granted the Geographical Indication (GI) tag.
- Mathura’s Zari Poshaak is known for its fine embroidery, traditional religious–cultural attire made with gold and silver threads, and craftsmanship passed down through generations.
