Directorate for Environment and Climate Change
- On 28th October 2025, the Uttar Pradesh Government approved the establishment of the Directorate for Environment and Climate Change in its cabinet meeting.
- This will be the first directorate of its kind at the state level in India.
- It will work on integrated strategies for environmental protection and sustainable development, setting a benchmark for other states in aligning with India’s national and global climate ....
