Pradhan Mantri Jan Vikas Karyakram
On 25th May, 2023, the Ministry of Minority Affairs (MoMA) has approved grant under Pradhan Mantri Jan Vikas Karyakram (PMJVK) to support the upgradation of Unani Medicine facilities at Hyderabad, Chennai, Lucknow, Silchar and Bengaluru.
About PMJVK
- It is a scheme designed to address the development deficits of the identified minority concentration areas (MCAs).
- The erstwhile Multi-sectoral Development Programme (MsDP) has been restructured and renamed as Pradhan Mantri Jan Vikas Karyakram for effective implementation since 2018.
- The scheme is being implemented under the aegis of the State Governments/ Union Territory (UT) Administrations on a fund sharing pattern and the projects are ....
