Economic and Social Survey of Asia and the Pacific, 2026

On 20th April 2026, the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP) released the Economic and Social Survey of Asia and the Pacific 2026.

  • The survey underscores that the transition to an environmentally sustainable economy, with a focus on the energy transition, must reinforce broader development objectives such as macroeconomic stability, sustained economic growth and people’s well-being.
