India-Australia ECTA Completes Four Years

On 2nd April 2026, the India-Australia Economic Cooperation and Trade Agreement (ECTA) completed four years, marking a major milestone in strengthening bilateral trade, enhancing market access, and deepening economic ties between India and Australia.

  • Bilateral trade reached USD 24.1 billion in 2024-25.
  • India’s exports to Australia more than doubled in four years.
