About Masi Magam
Timing
- Masi Magam is a Tamil festival celebrated in the month of Masi (February–March) on the full moon day when it coincides with the Magha star.
- While Masi Magam is observed annually, the grand festival of Maha Magam occurs once every twelve years when Jupiter transits into Leo on this day.
- It is considered highly auspicious for spiritual purification.
