On 5th March 2026, the Raisina Science Diplomacy Initiative (SDI) was launched at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, during the Raisina Dialogue, India’s flagship geopolitical conference.
What is SDI?
- Institutions Involved: The initiative was jointly launched by the Office of the Principal Scientific Adviser to the Government of India and the Observer Research Foundation.
- Aim: To create a global platform for dialogue on science diplomacy, exploring how science and technology influence international cooperation, strategic autonomy, and global governance.
