India-Malaysia Comprehensive Strategic Partnership
On 20th August 2024, Malaysian Prime Minister Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim visited India. During the visit, India and Malaysia decided to upgrade ties to a ‘Comprehensive Strategic Partnership’.
- Both countries decided to upgrade the 2010 Strategic Partnership that had been made an ‘Enhanced Strategic Partnership’ in 2015.
