Women Entrepreneurship Program
On 31st July, 2024, the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) launched a Women Entrepreneurship Program.
Aim
- To tackle challenges faced by women in entrepreneurship by offering crucial skills, knowledge, and networking opportunities.
 
Salient Features
Two Phases
- Phase 1: The first phase offers self-learning courses.
 - Phase 2: The second phase provides support to 10,000 selected candidates, helping them with business model selection, registration, and funding guidance.
 
Skill India Digital Hub (SIDH)
- The program has been launched with the introduction of complimentary self-learning basic entrepreneurship courses available in multiple languages on the Skill India Digital Hub (SIDH).
