National Asset Monetization Pipeline
In the Union Budget 2021-22, the government announced to launch a National Monetization Pipeline for potential brownfield infrastructure assets.
- In this light, government has announced investment opportunities worth ₹2.5 trillion in the national asset monetisation pipeline through sale of around 100 assets of central public sector enterprises (CPSEs)in oil, gas, port, airport and power sectors.
- An Asset Monetization dashboard will also be created for tracking the progress and to provide visibility to investors.
