National Monetisation Pipeline 2.0 (NMP 2.0)

On 23rd February 2026, the Union Government launched the National Monetisation Pipeline 2.0 (NMP 2.0), developed by NITI Aayog, to operationalise the Asset Monetisation Plan 2025-30 as announced in the Union Budget 2025-26.

What is NMP 2.0?

  • NMP 2.0 is the Government of India’s second phase of asset monetisation covering FY 2026-2030.
  • It aligns with the infrastructure development plans of the Viksit Bharat initiative.
  • Aim: To provide a medium-term roadmap of the programme for public asset owners.
