Smooth-coated Otters
The Uttarakhand Forest Department has recently officially recorded smooth-coated otters for the first time in Nandhaur Wildlife Sanctuary.
- The sighting occurred in the Terai-Bhabar region of Nainital district.
- Smooth-coated otters are classified as Vulnerable by the IUCN Red List.
