National Energy Data: Survey and Analysis 2021-22 Report

On 23rd June, 2023, the Ministry of Power released the "National Energy Data: Survey and Analysis 2021-22" report. It is the maiden report of Energy Data Management Unit, set up under Bureau of Energy Efficiency, Ministry of Power, Government of India.

The report provides detailed information about energy supply and consumption patterns in different sectors of the Indian economy.

  • It covers a period of six years, from FY 2016-17 to FY 2021-22, and includes trends, analysis, and insights into fuel-wise energy consumption in major sectors.
