Annual Survey of Unincorporated Sector Enterprises
On 14th June, 2024, the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation (MoSPI) released the key results of the Annual Survey of Unincorporated Sector Enterprises (ASUSE) for the reference periods of April 2021 to March 2022 (ASUSE 2021-22) and October 2022 to September 2023 (ASUSE 2022-23).
What is ASUSE?
- Conducted by the National Statistics Office (NSO) under MoSPI, it is a survey conducted annually since 2019-20; previously it was conducted once every five years.
- Aim: It aims to provide data on economic and operational characteristics of unincorporated nonagricultural enterprises in manufacturing, trade and other services sectors (excluding construction).
