Global Gender Gap Report 2024

On 11th June, 2024, the World Economic Forum (WEF) published its Global Gender Gap Index for 2024, revealing significant insights into gender parity across the globe.

About Global Gender Gap Index

  • It is the longest-standing index tracking the progress of numerous countries’ efforts towards closing these gaps over time since its inception in 2006.
  • The Index annually benchmarks the current state and evolution of gender parity across four key dimensions-
    1. Economic Participation and Opportunity
    2. Educational Attainment
    3. Health and Survival
    4. Political Empowerment
