Blue Valley Cluster Initiative
On 9th June 2026, the Government of Assam and the European Union (EU) jointly launched the Blue Valley Cluster in Guwahati to promote sustainable industrial development in the Flavours, Fragrances, and AYUSH sectors across Assam and the wider North-East region.
What is the Blue Valley Cluster?
- It is an innovation-driven industrial ecosystem designed to promote research, value addition, sustainable manufacturing, and industrial partnerships in sectors where Assam possesses a natural advantage.
Objective
- Expand India-EU cooperation in bioeconomy sectors.
- Promote investment, innovation, and industrial partnerships.
- Develop sustainable value chains connecting local resources with global markets.
