Indian Council for Cultural Relations
On 17th October, 2024, the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) held a conference of Buddhist monks and scholars in Colombo (Sri Lanka) on bequeathing Pali the status of a classical language by the Indian government.
Brief Description of ICCR
- Establishment: ICCR was founded in 1950 by Maulana Abul Kalam Azad, independent India’s first Education Minister.
