NITI Aayog Unveils Advanced Manufacturing Roadmap
On 29th October 2025, NITI Aayog’s Frontier Tech Hub launched its roadmap, Reimagining Manufacturing: India’s Roadmap to Global Leadership in Advanced Manufacturing, charting a path to transform India into a top-three global manufacturing hub by 2035.

- The roadmap defines clear, tangible outcomes for 2035 that must be achieved:
- GDP Contribution: Increase manufacturing’s share of India’s GDP from the current 15-17% to 25%.
- Job Creation: Generate over 100 million quality jobs by upskilling the workforce.
- Global Positioning: Position India among the top three global hubs for advanced manufacturing.
