National Infrastructure Pipeline

The National Infrastructure Pipeline (NIP) is a "whole-of-government" exercise to provide world-class infrastructure and attract investments into the sector. It serves as the visionary roadmap for the $5 Trillion Economy, originally targeting an investment of ₹111 Lakh Crore (FY 2020-25), which has now expanded significantly. It shifts the focus from sporadic project announcements to a transparent, long-term, and integrated project pipeline.

  • EPC Majors: Large Engineering, Procurement, and Construction firms bidding for high-value tenders.
  • Long-Term Investors: Sovereign Wealth Funds (SWFs) and Pension Funds seeking patient capital assets (Brownfield/Greenfield).
