Global Drug Policy Index 2021
The first ever Global Drug Policy Index (GDPI) 2021, was released by the Harm Reduction Consortium on 9th November, 2021.
About the Report
- It measures how drug policies align with many of the key UN recommendations on how to design and implement drug policies in accordance with the United Nations principles of health, human rights, and development.
- Using 75 indicators, the Index covers five dimensions ranging from criminal justice and extreme responses, to health and harm reduction, access to medicines, and development.
- The 2021 edition of the Index covers 30 countries from all regions of the world.
