On 13th May, 2023, Ministry of Power chaired a meeting on Green Energy Open Access Rules (GOAR) 2022.
About GOAR Rules 2022
- It was notified in June 2022, in order to further accelerate India’s ambitious renewable energy programmes with the end goal of ensuring access to affordable, reliable, sustainable and green energy for all.
- It also aims for promoting generation, purchase and consumption of green energy including the energy from waste-to-energy plants.
