India-France Review Tech and Space Cooperation
On 7th May 2026, India and France reviewed and strengthened bilateral cooperation in science, technology, and space during a virtual meeting.
- Both countries reaffirmed science, technology, and space cooperation as a major pillar of the India-France strategic partnership.
- The ministers highlighted 2026 as the “Indo-French Year of Innovation,” aimed at expanding collaboration in emerging technologies and research.
- Discussions included cooperation on developing NavIC ground stations in France to strengthen India’s regional navigation system outreach.
- France invited India to actively participate in the International Space Summit scheduled in Paris in September ....
