Royal Order of the Polar Star, Degree Commander Grand Cross
- Prime Minister Narendra Modi was conferred Sweden’s highest honour for a foreign Head of Government, the Royal Order of the Polar Star, Degree Commander Grand Cross.
- The award was presented to him on May 17, 2026, by Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden during a special ceremony in Gothenburg.
- The prestigious 18th-century honour recognises exceptional public service and his contributions toward strengthening relations between India and Sweden, making him the first Asian leader to receive the decoration. ....
