Narco-terrorism denotes the convergence of drug trafficking networks and terror/insurgent groups, where proceeds from narcotics fund violence and sustain operations. India’s proximity to the Golden Crescent (Afghanistan-Pakistan-Iran) and Golden Triangle (Myanmar-Laos-Thailand) makes it vulnerable to such linkages.
