Status Paper on Government Debt
- The Central Government released the Data on Central Government Debt for the Quarter Ending September, 2019 - (Q3).
- The Central Government has been bringing-out an Annual Status Paper on Government Debt since 2010-11 which provides a detailed analysis of the Overall Debt Position of the Government of India.
- In the Jul/19 - Sep/19 quarter public debt has reached Rs 82 lakh crore out of which 76 lakh crore forms the internal debt and 5 lakh crore of external debt.
