Space Tech Policy, 2026
- On 13th January 2026, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav approved the Madhya Pradesh Space Tech Policy, 2026 during a meeting of the Council of Ministers.
- The decision to implement this policy was taken considering the state’s strong industrial ecosystem, including 322 industrial parks, electronics manufacturing clusters, 31 GW power supply capacity, reputed academic institutions, and a favourable industrial environment to promote space-grade manufacturing.
- The policy aims to promote innovation in satellite manufacturing, geospatial analysis, and downstream applications.
- Over the next five years, the policy is expected to attract investments worth approximately Rs.1,000 crore and generate around 8,000 jobs.
