About:

  • CCTNS is a crime and criminal records digitization project initiated in 2009 which inter-links all police stations in the country for aiding investigation.
  • The data is shared across the board and aggregated centrally.
  • Police data in CCTNS has been integrated with other pillars of the criminal justice system i.e. Courts, Prisons, Prosecution and Forensics and a new system- “Integrated Criminal Justice System (ICJS)” has been developed.

Digital Police Portal

  • It is a part of CCTNS project and was launched in 2017.
  • Citizens can report complaints online ....
