Ambedkar’s Political Vision and Role in Constitution Making
Dr. B.R. Ambedkar (1891–1956) was a jurist, economist, social reformer, and principal architect of the Indian Constitution. His life’s work focused on annihilating caste, securing civil and political rights for the depressed classes, and building an inclusive, democratic nation. He combined rigorous scholarship with mass mobilization and institution-building to transform both social relations and State Policy in India.
