  • On 8 July 2025, Union Education Ministry inaugurated the Uttar Pradesh Agri‑Tech Innovation Hub and Agri‑Tech Startup & Technology Showcase at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel University of Agriculture & Technology (SVPUAT), Meerut.
  • The Agri‑Tech Innovation Hub is equipped with IoT‑enabled sensors, smart irrigation systems, automation technologies, and a real‑time analytics platform to promote precision farming and sustainable agriculture.
  • Its goal is to bring together farmers, technologists, researchers, innovators, state agriculture departments, academics, and ag‑tech startups to co‑create and adopt scalable, region‑specific solutions.
