India Unveils First Made-in-India EXIM Shipping Container

On 3rd July 2026, the Government of India unveiled the country's first Made-in-India export-import (EXIM) shipping container for global shipping company A.P. Moller–Maersk at the Maersk–CONCOR Inland Container Depot in Dadri, Uttar Pradesh.

  • The container has been manufactured according to international quality and safety standards, including ISO specifications and the International Convention for Safe Containers (CSC), making it suitable for global shipping.
