India’s First Virtual Zoo

  • On 16th August 2026, India’s first virtual zoo was launched at the Indore Zoo in Madhya Pradesh.
  • A 14-D cinema theatre and virtual jungle safari were also inaugurated at the zoo.
  • The facilities were developed under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model.
  • The project was developed at an estimated cost of around Rs.4.5 crore.
