Chief Minister Bihar Heli-Tourism and Air Tourism Service Scheme-2026
On 13th July 2026, Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary launched the Chief Minister Bihar Heli-Tourism and Air Tourism Service Scheme-2026 to promote air tourism and improve access to major tourist destinations in Bihar.
- Under the scheme, government helicopters will provide subsidised air travel to destinations such as Patna, Rajgir, Valmikinagar, and Kaimur, with a ticket subsidy of up toRs.15,422 per passenger.
- Regular helicopter services will commence from 18th July 2026, operating on Saturdays and Sundays, including aerial tours of Patna's skyline.
