Viksit Gujarat Data Center Policy 2026-29
On 9th July 2026, the Gujarat Government launched the Viksit Gujarat Data Centre Policy 2026–29 to promote investments in hyperscale data centres, artificial intelligence (AI) infrastructure, and digital services.
- The policy aims to position Gujarat as a leading destination for digital infrastructure by supporting India's growing digital economy.
- Data centres have been recognized as strategic infrastructure under the policy.
- The policy offers several fiscal incentives, including capital subsidy, interest subsidy, power tariff support, SGST reimbursement, electricity duty reimbursement, assistance for desalination plants, and stamp duty ....
