35% Reservation for Women in Government Jobs

  • On 8 July 2025, the Bihar government decided to enforce domicile policy reservation for women in government jobs.
  • Since 2016, a 35% reservation quota has existed for female candidates in state government jobs.
  • This new domicile policy limits the quota exclusively to women who are permanent residents of Bihar.
  • Now only native women of Bihar will benefit from the 35% ....
