Minimum Support Price (MSP)
Minimum Support Price (MSP) is a market intervention by the Government of India to protect agricultural producers from sharp falls in farm prices. It is a guaranteed price for farmers' produce, announced before each sowing season for 23 crops.
MSP for Marketing Season 2025-26
- The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs chaired by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi has approved the increase in the Minimum Support Prices (MSP) for 14 Kharif Crops for Marketing Season 2025-26 in May 2025.
