Recent Developments

  • The Indian government has shown strong commitment to promoting natural farming. In November 2024, the Union Cabinet approved the National Mission on Natural Farming (NMNF) as a standalone Centrally Sponsored Scheme with a total outlay of Rs. 2,481 crore until the 15th Finance Commission period (2025-26).
