Operation Southern Readiness 26-2

  • On 20th July 2026, the Indian Navy's Southern Naval Command commenced Operation Southern Readiness 26-2 in Kochi, a four-day multinational maritime security training exercise involving 26 countries.
  • The exercise is being conducted under the Indian Navy-led Combined Task Force 154 (CTF 154) in partnership with the Combined Maritime Forces (CMF) and is the first edition of Operation Southern Readiness hosted in India.
