On 11th June 2025, the World Economic Forum(WEF) released Global Gender Gap Index Report 2025.

Understanding the Global Gender Gap Index

It is an annual publication that assesses and ranks countries on how well they are closing gender-based disparities across four key dimensions:

  1. Economic Participation and Opportunity
  2. Educational Attainment
  3. Health and Survival
  4. Political Empowerment

Major Highlights

  • Full Gender Parity: The 2025 Global Gender Gap Index shows that no economy has yet achieved full gender parity.
