Understanding the Global Gender Gap Index
It is an annual publication that assesses and ranks countries on how well they are closing gender-based disparities across four key dimensions:
- Economic Participation and Opportunity
- Educational Attainment
- Health and Survival
- Political Empowerment

- Full Gender Parity: The 2025 Global Gender Gap Index shows that no economy has yet achieved full gender parity.
