SARTHAK PDS
On 27th May 2026, the Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA) approved the continuation of the “Scheme for Assistance in Ration Transport and Handling-Income with Automation in PDS” (SARTHAK PDS) as an umbrella scheme, in the 16th Finance Commission cycle award period.
What is SARTHAK PDS?
- A technology driven scheme intended to assist state agencies in intra-state transportation of food grains, improve supply chain management and introduce technology-driven reforms in the ration distribution system.
