Nasha Mukt Yuva for Viksit Bharat Sankalp Abhiyan
On 2nd August 2026, the Prime Minister launched the Nasha Mukt Yuva for Viksit Bharat Sankalp Abhiyan.
- The campaign seeks to address substance abuse through a comprehensive approach combining prevention, community participation, rehabilitation and enforcement.
Key Features
- Vision: To build a drug-free, physically healthy, mentally resilient and confident youth population, contributing to the broader vision of Viksit Bharat@2047.
- Origin: The initiative evolved from a pilot programme in Kashi, Uttar Pradesh, developed under the Kashi Declaration with support from over 125 spiritual organisations and several Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs).
