Mission Samriddh Gaon

On 24th August 2026, the Union government launched the Mission Samriddh Gaon in New Delhi.

What Mission Samriddh Gaon?

  • Integrated Framework: It is an integrated rural transformation and livelihood-saturation framework.
  • Aim: Making the villages free from poverty and with sufficient job opportunities along with all the necessary facilities.
  • Nodal Ministry: Ministry of Rural Development (MoRD).
  • Pilot Locations: Budni block (Sehore district) and Khategaon block (Dewas district) in Madhya Pradesh.

Key Features

  • Family-Level Saturation & Bottom-Up Planning: Maps household eligibility and prepares family, Gram Panchayat and block-level plans to ensure universal access to welfare and livelihood schemes.
  • Inter-Departmental Convergence: Integrates agriculture, health, education, ....
