Background / Current Context |
Corporate governance reforms in India intensified after the 1991 economic liberalization. The Kumar Mangalam Birla Committee (1999), Naresh Chandra Committee (2002), and Uday Kotak Committee (2017) provided key recommendations. SEBI implemented LODR (2015) regulations. |
