All India Rural Financial Inclusion Survey, 2021-22
On 9th October, 2024, National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) released the results of its second All India Rural Financial Inclusion Survey (NAFIS) 2021-22.
About NAFIS
- NAFIS is a national-level survey commissioned by the Department of Economic Analysis & Research (DEAR), NABARD (Mumbai).
- NABARD conducted the first such survey for the agricultural year (July-June) 2016-17, results of which were released in August 2018.
- The survey covered all States of the country and Union Territories of Jammu & Kashmir (J&K) and Ladakh.
