Foundational Literacy and Numeracy (FLN) under the National Initiative for Proficiency in Reading with Understanding and Numeracy (NIPUN) Bharat focuses on ensuring that every child in primary school acquires essential reading, writing, comprehension, and basic arithmetic skills by Grade 3. This foundational competence is critical for lifelong learning, academic success, and human capital development.
