​India’s First Long-Range Hypersonic Missile

On 17th November 2024, India’s Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) successfully flight-tested its long-range hypersonic missile off the coast of Odisha, marking a major milestone in India’s defence capabilities.

  • DRDO successfully tested a long-range hypersonic missile from Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Island, off the coast of Odisha.
