CeNS Develops Ultra-Sensitive Ammonia Sensor
Recently, Scientists at the Centre for Nano and Soft Matter Sciences (CeNS), Bengaluru, developed an ultra-sensitive room-temperature ammonia sensor capable of detecting toxic ammonia gas at extremely low concentrations, enabling portable, wearable and self-powered gas monitoring devices.

- The sensor detects ammonia concentrations as low as 319 parts per billion (ppb).
- Demonstrates high selectivity against other common gases.
- Provides stable performance for over 10 weeks.
